Humexe will join Startup Europe in Slush 2019

Slush, the main worldwide startup and technology event in Helsinki, will take place the next November, 21st. Humexe will participate in this new edition thanks to Startup Europe which has invited us to be part of their branch in the activities organised for Slush.

Startup Europe and Slush

Slush was created to help future entrepreneurs to build a worldwide start-up community and facilitate meetings among startup’s founders and investors. In 2018 over 3,100 new companies and 20,000 visitors from over 130 countries gathered there.

Startup Europe is a European Commission’s initiative to connect startups, investors, entrepreneurs, corporate networks, universities and media through several networks. Its aim is to strengthen the start-up ecosystem across Europe and to help the start-up community to have an easy access to tools and financing.

Humexe at Slush 2019

Humexe will participate in this great event, represented by Isabel María García, Project Manager of Humexe Project. We are aware of what a big opportunity this represents for us and we are going to make the most out of it. This is a step further in our Humexe Project which will help us to continue moving forward to the market.

Humexe has received funding from Horizon 2020, the European Union EIC Accelerator (SMEs Instrument) Programme for Research and Innovation according to the subsidy agreement no. 784560. The project is currently executing the second phase of the SME Instrument and it is managed by EASME, the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

From Humexe, we would like to highlight the importance of this kind of initiatives to connect companies and capital and to accelerate the transition from R+D to the market. Moreover, we are convinced that the European institutions’ support is key to connect different projects and initiatives at a European scale. This will help us access many opportunities in Europe and increases our chances of success.
